Service Description
Starter Locs Keep your Starter Locs in for about 3β12 months to allow them to begin budding and forming into locs. If you's like Sister locs dm me @anitadiditt on instagram ($530+) π± Loc Journey Stages Starter Phase (3β6 months) β’ Do not wash for at least 4-6 weeks after installation. β’ In the initial phase your coils may be prone to unraveling. β’ Afterward, wash gently with a residue-free shampoo. β’ Use a spray bottle with water and oil a few times a week (as needed) to keep your hair hydrated. β’ Regular retwists are recommended every 6 weeks. β’ Maintain your hair gently, avoid over-manipulation or frequent touching. β’ Always wear a bonnet at night to protect your locs. Budding Phase (6β12 months) Your coils will begin to bud and form knots. The hair may become puffier or frizzier, which means itβs matting, this is a good sign of progress! However, locs are still delicate during this stage, so handle them with care. Teenage Phase (12β15 months) Your locs begin to thicken and show more defined structure. Internal knotting increases as the locs continue to mature. Mature Phase (15β18 months) Locs become firmer, flatter, and stronger. They hold their shape more consistently and require less frequent maintenance. Rooted Phase (18+ months) Your locs are now fully formed, strong, and established. They hang naturally and reflect your personal loc journey.
Cancellation Policy
Pre-Stretched Hair Only: Please bring only pre-stretched hair for your appointment. Non-Pre-Stretched Hair: If you bring hair that is not pre-stretched, there will be a $10 fee for stretching, as this process takes additional time. Come Fully Blow dried, or pay for Blow drying services in Add-ons/Additional Add-ons Come fully blowdried & detangled / hair stretched out and ready to go or else youβll be charged 20$ extra for blow drying Curls & Hair Length If you want curls, add 4β10 inches to your braid length depending on the curl size. For questions, please DM. Correct Hair Length: If you pay for waist-length braids but bring hip-length hair, you will be charged based on the length of the braiding hair you bring, not the length you originally booked. Please refer to the measurement guide to ensure you purchase the correct length. Natural Hair Length: Do not misrepresent your natural hair length/amount of dreads you have. If your natural hair is longer than the length you booked for, you will be charged according to the actual length of your natural hair. Timing & Appointments Time estimates are approximate. Actual appointment times may be shorter depending on the hair and style. Grace Period: There is a 15-minute grace period. After 15 minutes: $10 late fee After 30 minutes: Appointment will be canceled unless you communicate in advance. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (25$ for most, $5-$20 for some) is required to secure your appointment. The deposit will go toward your final balance on the day of service. Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your appointment will not be charged any additional fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a 10$ fee. No-Shows or Cancellations Within 1 Hour: A 25$ fee of the total service price will be charged, and the deposit will not be refunded. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in booking restrictions. FAQ How many packs of hair should I buy?
